Why join NFUSSD
The problems and challenges facing large urban and suburban school systems today are as critical to education as those facing inner-city schools. However, until 1973, there was no single organization which could effectively unite these large districts. In September 1973, following more than a year of planning, The National Federation of Urban-Suburban Schools Districts now had an organization which would represent their views, examine mutual problems, analyze operations and generally work together on major issues. The NFUSSD Organization seeks to serve and represent those urban-suburban school systems which have similar problems and wish to affiliate for unified action.
