Millard Public Schools
Millard Public Schools is a suburban school district in Omaha, NE serving more than 23,000 students. Guided by a strong strategic plan, it is a district of choice with 35 schools offering students 25 Advanced Placement courses, five Career academies, a K-12 International Baccalaureate Programme, Core Academy and Montessori programs. All three Millard high schools have been recognized on the Newsweek/The Daily Beast’s list of “America’s Best High Schools” and on the Washington Post’s list of “America’s Most Challenging High Schools.” Millard students consistently score above state and national averages, and fifty-four percent of Millard graduates have completed at least one Advanced Placement course. The financial website Kiplinger.com has cited the Millard school district as a key reason why Omaha was selected as the number one place in the nation to raise children, and the American Music Conference has named the Millard school district as one of the Best 100 Communities for Music Education in America.
