At Papillion-La Vista School District (PLSD), a strong team of staff, parents and community members are committed to excellence…one student at a time. Located just south of Omaha, Papillion-La Vista School District residents benefit from a small town atmosphere while still having all of the conveniences of a metropolitan area. Serving over 11,000 students, Papillion-La Vista is the fourth largest district in Nebraska, located in one of Money’s “Best Places to Live.”
The District is both urban and rural and is comprised of 14 elementary schools, two junior high schools, two high schools. In 2010, the District received accreditation from the AdvancED Accreditation Commission. This is a prestigious honor held by only select districts throughout the country.

The PLSD offers AP courses, 9 academies as well as countless partnerships with local businesses to provide students hands-on learning.
